There are many ways to be Hafiz Quran. Wait. What is Hafiz Quran? Well, Hafiz means The Keeper while Quran is our Holy Book. Hafiz Quran means The Quran’s Keeper. He memorizes all the contents of the Quran thus protect Quran.

Let’s proceed, shall we? These are few important tips to become Hafiz Quran.

  • Sincerity – make sure your intention is only for the sake of Allah SWT, not to show off that you have memorized a lot.
  • Consistency – be more frequent in memorizing the Quran. It is very important not to skip even one day. Don’t jump into another surah when you facing difficulties with current surah.
  • Timing – the first thing need to do in every day is memorize, even before your breakfast because this is your spiritual breakfast.
  • Atmosphere – have a secluded and quiet place to memorize. We can’t memorize properly with so many distractions, including your devices like cellphone.
  • Familiarity – start at the same time and place with same Quran every day. Have your own copy of the Quran so the Quran will become dear to you.
  • Repeat – this is the only “magic” trick for you, repeat, repeat, and repeat all over again. This way will help us to memorize Quran better and faster.
  • Surrounding – surround yourself with recitation of Quran. Before starting to memorize, listen to Quran, to what you want to memorize.
  • Buddy – find yourself a buddy to listen to your recitation every day. Ideally, get someone who also memorizing the Quran. It sure helps both of you.
  • Recite – don’t forget to recite what you memorized in your prayer every day. It’s important!
  • Revise – don’t forget to revise. Revision will prevent you from forget the verses you memorized.
  • Teacher – find yourself a teacher or sheikh who are qualified.
  • Pray - ask for Allah's help. May Allah ease you.

Also, there are many more I want to share regarding on How to be Hafiz Quran but I think this will enough for today. Good luck guys!

More Tips: the three chunks. Start memorizing from the back. You should divide the memorization of the Quran into three parts;

  • Juz 30 and 29 (you can add Juz 28 if you want).
  • Surah al-Kahf till Juz 28.
  • Surah al-Baqarah till Surah al-Kahf.
